Why the Studies
TWO DREAMS THE LORD HAS GIVEN ME
I had these dreams years ago, yet I remember them as though they were last night.
First dream:
I approached an appointment desk. On the desk I noticed a ballpoint pen and a quill like pen. There was a roll of cash register like paper that had written on it the words: I love you, I love you, etc. I knew they were words I had spoken to my Heavenly Father and were recorded in Heaven. I walked over and picked up the quill pen. The quill was crystal, upon it was etched a little fat pig. I signed my name and then enter door behind the desk.
I entered a corridor lined with gold. As I walked down the corridor I entered a room. As I walked in I was in the Presence of the Lord God Almighty. He started talking to Me and I said, I need a pen and paper to write this down. He said, no. I will be etching it upon your heart. As he spoke, my flesh melted off of me (I felt it!) When I walked out of that room; I was naked and unashamed. When I woke I looked to see if I literally experienced the flesh melting off.
The appointment desk represents an appointed time. The pen was the pen of ACCEPTANCE. The nakedness represented the righteousness of Christ. The flesh represents this “self-life” that stands in the way of His beauty and splendor.
Second dream:
I was walking around and all I could see was “needy” homes. I entered one home which happened to be a clinic. There were a lot of needyeople there. Jesus beckoned me to follow Him.
He took me to a room where there were children sitting around a table. He said, I will show you how to bless them and he placed His hands on them. As He did that I heard a child on my right and left crying so I reached out and held them in my arms.
I followed Jesus out of the room and he pointed to a window where I saw rain pouring on it. He said: Do you see that? That’s not water. It’s your flesh. “Birth days” should have something special. (I felt the flesh melting.)
I thought I would have a ministry with children, but the Lord said, “the children represented hurting adults”.
You said, step by step. That means I must stay tuned to You, talk to You about everything. Lead me in Your Word, Lord. Direct me to the tapes you’d have me listen to. This day is yours. I place myself in Your Hands
Later in the morning I was reading Colossians 1. As I read verse Colossians 1:19-20, I began weeping at the reality of what Almighty God, our Heavenly Father did for us through His Son Jesus.
The Word said it “pleased” Him that in Him the fullness of Him should dwell and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself. Christ’s blood brought peace to us and RESTORATION. All hope of real glory is Christ’s life being found in us.
What scripture do You have for me? Immediately I heard Isaiah 60:1. "Arise shine for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.'
“glory” – weightiness, heavy, honor, splendor, power, authority. As I turned the page of the Bible my eyes fell on Isaiah 61. This scripture applied as well. Although this is talking about Jesus’ ministry; it also describes the ministry He passed on to the church. Lord, are you giving me the vision through scripture? This is the vision isn’t it?
Restoration of Fellowship
He reminded me of first dream when I walked out naked and unashamed – What does that mean?
Nakedness represents the righteousness of Christ. (Remember the garden before man sinned? They were naked and unashamed.)
Ecc. 7:20 No one is righteous, no matter how hard he tries 1 Corinthians 1:30 Our righteousness comes from Christ who died for us and lives in us – it is a result of His sacrifice freely given. We struggle with sin, but God forgives because of Christ’s sacrifice. His mercy brings kindness and unconditional ACCEPTANCE as we approach Him in faith. Hebrews 10:1-25
Continually draw near to God with a blameless heart and devotion and cling to Him. Accept the benefits of Jesus’ sacrifices and enter into God’s Presence with confidence.
Gather together and encourage one another to continue on in righteousness.
WOW!!!!! The pen of ACCEPTANCE is His acceptance of us and our acceptance of ourselves- We are a NEW CREATION created in Christ Jesus to do good works which He prepared in advance for us to do!!!!!!!
We are to turn to the hurting people with open and accepting arms of the love of the Lord. Acts. 3:19. Receive your sins as forgiven and forgotten. Enjoy the refreshing that comes from God’s Presence.
11 Chronicles 7:14, James 4:7-10, James 5:16, Phil 1:9- A humble person sees himself in the light of His relationship with Almighty God.
- A truly humble person regards others more highly than himself because this self assessment.
- A humble person puts others in a better perspective.
- A humble person is grateful for what he has received from the Lord and not lifted up with pride.
Identify with the sins of others about you, confessing them as your own. Repent, humble yourself, seek God’s face to restore blessings and believe with all your heart He will do it.
Philippians 1:9 love – seeks the highest good of the other person, no matter what he does
Restoration of God’s Image
Isaiah 4:2,3 Branch symbolizes this. This chapter prophesies the restoration of God’s image in man.
In Christ Jesus, God restores His people to the Father/child relationship. We are brought back to God (Ephesians 2:15) and are destined to be conformed to His Image.
Restoration of Intimacy with God
Now we will become one with God as Jesus prayed in John 17. Mankind will be cleansed by submitting to God and by allowing self to be cleansed by the Word.
The HOLY SPIRIT is the agent Joel 2:28-29 It will be done in and through His people. RESTORATION means life to us - reach individuals . Deut. 30:20, Col. 3:4, John10:10, Psalm 23:3
Restoration to the Church
Display - God’s love John 13: 34,35, God’s power without measure as the gifts operate through His people.
When this happens, we the church will have reached a level of maturity and unity that can only be measured by the level of “the stature of the fullness of Christ.” Eph. 4:13 As we, the church become a spiritual house (Eph.2:20) inhabited by a holy priesthood, offering up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ, all men will be drawn to HIM!!!!!! 1 Peter 2:5 Offer up a spiritual sacrifice pleasing to God.
Eccl 7:20 Not a righteous man on earth who never sins. 2 Chronicles 7:14 humble yourselves, pray, seek His face.
1 Corinthians 1:30 He is wisdom for us. Psalm 45:2 "Your lips have been anointed with grace since God has blessed you forever.
This day was an example of living moment by moment with Him As I came to You and cried out to You, You gave me the answer I needed for Jody.
Thank You Jesus for providing healing for us, spirit, soul and body! I love you! I love You! I love You! I further proclaim that Your healing Hand is upon me as well as Your anointing to do the work You’ve called me to do! I look forward to it Lord with great anticipation and excitement!! All for Your glory, Lord –Your Glory! This I proclaim for the women as they come to You in obedience and trust desiring to be all You’ve created them to be - In the power of Your might, Lord.!!!!!!!
1 Peter 2:1-9 John 14:6-14
God has created a place for us and that is close to Him. To know Jesus is to know the Father.
Royal priesthood –true authority is always related to a walk in purity and constancy in worship just like the Israelites did in possessing the Promised Land. Keep humbly praiseful before the King of Kings and witness His works of power with Joy!
The joy of a fully giving heart to Jesus and freely giving to others awaits you!!!!!
I was reminded of when the Lord told me He had given me the gift of love but that it would be broken to His way of loving. I would learn, through experience , how to love unconditionally. Little did I realize He would be using a child he placed in my arms to learn just that. Through the many experiences she has taken us through, it has caused me to examine my heart and look at what was there and repent, calling on the grace of God to walk His way. He has never failed us. I believe He uses situations in our live to bring forth the beautiful person He sees us to be in Him.
After writing this I picked up a Joyce Meyer magazine that came yesterday. This is what she had to say:
Spending time with God is one of the most important things in life. More than anything else, we need His Presence. As we grow in intimacy with the Father, His anointing will be released, enabling us to accomplish His purposes for our lives. When we make ourselves a sanctuary where God can dwell, He is more than willing and able to guide us in all we do. And through us He wants to help lead and guide others. God’s glory will shine brighter and brighter on those who truly belong to Him. God wants us available for one on one ministry wherever we are.
Joyce Meyer just said what my heart has been saying. Isn’t the Lord awesome??!!!!!!!!!
Restoring Fellowship With The Father
God wants to have fellowship with us because He loves us. He knows of every wrong thing we were ever going to do before we did it. Yet, He still chose to save us from our sins so that we could have relationship with us. That’s amazing love!!!! When our relationship with God is unhindered, the result is a river of life flowing out of our innermost being, blessing everyone around us. That river of life is the thing that makes people at us and desire what we have.
All God requires of us is obedience, obeying what God’s Word says: renewing our minds, walking in God’s love, not lying, stealing or coveting.
The second is doing what God specifically speaks to us as individuals- Luke 6: 35 says if, then our reward will be great. But often times we struggle with the idea of taking responsibility and doing our part to experience God’s blessings.
Sometimes we only hear what we want to hear and avoid what we don’t want to deal with.
Or we are easily distracted by our fleshy desires and temptations - we have to choose to die to our flesh and resist temptations.
We have to die to sin. Romans 6:11 says we should think of ourselves as dead to sin but alive to Christ.
Regular obedience is the key to victory. We must get serious about our walk with God even though Satan comes at us with a vengeance. We will not compromise.
We have to learn what is right even when it feels wrong - feelings like fear discouragement and doubt. In the first chapter of Joshua the Lord told him he would give him the land upon which his feet tread but he told him to be strong and courageous and not be discouraged.
Every promise of God has already been bought with the blood of Jesus. We have to push away wrong feelings that hinder us and press on to new levels of obedience. We need to feed our spirits in the Word and fellowship with the Father. 1 Peter 5:10 Isaiah 1:9
We can’t see everything that is wrong in our lives but we can believe God to see Him change the thing He’s dealing with us right now. Phil. 2:13
Let’s keep pressing on until every hindrance is removed and we’re in unbroken fellowship with the Father. John 7:38, Is. 59:3, Gal.2:20, James 4:6, Deut.30:16.
