Hi boys and girls. I have before you several spray cans. Have you ever seen your parents use spray cans? They contain various chemicals which are really effective against certain insects, bugs or other pests. Here is one that tells me that it is for flees, roaches.

One day my wife, Nancy, informed me that Candy our dog had contacted some flees while out doors. So, I went to the garage, got the spray can marked for flees and sprayed our dog. I have also used a spray on ants that I saw "marching" around the back patio area.

Here is a can that is used to keep cats away from a particular area. One might spray this on a sofa or chair or on an area in the room to keep the family cat from sleeping or staying there. Here is a spray can for mosquitoes. We have used this in the past when our family went camping. On one camp out the mosquitoes were really BIG. So we sprayed our legs, our arms and body that was exposed...even put some on our hands and then rubbed part of our face. The pests would make a dive bomb toward us and then they would "hit the fence." I call it a fence because one builds a fence to keep something out. So the spray is like a fence to keep pests away.

Well, here is another spray can. Let me turn it around so you can see the name on the can. What does it say?? This is a spray protection for Satan. Just like these spray cans are very effective in the areas spelled out, so we have a spray that can be used effectively against the enemy. Contained in the spray that God provides for us is the name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus and the Word of God. The devil can not land on us or bother us when we use the Name and the Blood. Oh, he will make noise, just like the mosquitoes do, but he can not do us injury because we have God's protection.

Philippians 2:10 reminds us that "At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, in heaven, earth and beneath."

So, when you are bothered by little irritations, when things are not going "your way", use your spiritual spray can and say, "Satan in the name of Jesus I defeat you. I rebuke you in the name of Jesus." It will work.....guaranteed.
