SHEEP: I have been given Your breath – Your gift of life and I will praise Your Holy Name. What a privilege to praise You
Your Word says "Let everything that has breath, praise You."
You are near to all who call upon You – You hear their cries. You are gracious and full of compassion – great in mercy. You are good to all. I look expectantly to You. You hear my cries and fulfill my desires.
You are near to all who call upon You. Great are You Lord and greatly to be praised. You are righteous in all Your ways. You take pleasure in those who fear You and hope in Your mercy. Your understanding is infinite.
GOD'S WORD: Psalm 63:1-6 Expressed praise releases the blessings. Praise – takes two directions – "praise" and "calming"
O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water. Affirmed relationship
So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory. Clear priorities
Your loving kindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You. Deep intensity
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. Desire for corporate involvement
My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips. Appropriate gratitude
When I remember You on my bed,
I meditate on You in the night watches. Personal needs met
