1 Corinthians 10:13

"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."

Heb. 2:18

"Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted."

James 1:13-14

" When tempted no one should say 'God is tempting me.' For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed."

James 4:7

"Submit yourselves then to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

Could it be that the “suffering when tempted” is the resisting? If so, through it all, we are being made whole and complete in Him. In our weakness He is made strong. We are being strengthened, established and grounded in Him. Jesus has the victory in us. We have the victory already. Nothing in our lives has gone unnoticed. He is in the midst of it all as we lay it before Him!!

Also remember that the tempation is not sin!!! The temptation is part of the package of being a human. It is the “yielding” that becomes sin. and to repeate 1 Cor. 10:13 (above)

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man.

And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond

what you can bear. But with the temptation

He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
