Facing a crisis

"For He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."

Psalm 91:11

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?...But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

Matthew 6:25-34

"Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble (crisis) and He delivered them from their distress."

Psalm 107:6

Obviously, crisis come in all kinds, shapes and forms - - and within each of those there is the INTENSITY of the situation. Two things I tell individuals regarding the crisis that they are in. (1) It is not as bad as it seems (to which some say, "yell, tell me! It is.") and (2) God has always made something beautiful out of every situation.

This is where our faith comes in. To be able to let go the rope of our control and to fall into the arms of a loving Heavenly Father who cares about every detail of our life. It boils down to looking at the crisis from with out or from within. It is like God looking "down" and our looking "across" There is a different perspective. Noah, for example thought it no doubt quite a crisis. Even before and through the ordeal. But at the end God put his rainbow.

Now, I mentioned above that there are two ways of looking at a crisis. We look at a rainbow and we see an arch. BUT those in an airplane when looking at the same rainbow see a circle. God does see different for us and God obviously can see "over the fence" of your crisis. That is where trust comes in. Trust - believe - have faith and go through it with God. You are not alone.

Repeating one of the above scriptures: "Then they (your name____) cried out to the Lord in their (your name _____) trouble (crisis) and He delivered them (your name ____) from their (your name ____) distress."May God's peace be yours, my friend.
