Treasure in Earthen Vessels
Christ Himself is in me ….Gal. 2:20 And I Am Complete in Him Col. 2:10
The life I now live is by faith in Him. I come to fullness of life in Him. He is over all principalities. We now have this Treasure in Earthen Vessels.
2 Corinthian 4:7 However, we possess this precious treasure in vessels of earth that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves.
Divine healing is divine life - the lordship of Christ over our body. It is the union of our body with His body, showing forth His life flowing through our body.
It is as real as His risen body.
It is as reasonable as the fact that He was risen from the dead, sitting as a compassionate Savior at the right Hand of God, making intercession for us.
Jesus, with all His attributes and power belongs to us. If we will believe and receive it we will draw life from the life of God.
Help us, Lord, to know and live these verses of scriptures. May they open up to our understanding as doors through which the living Christ enters moment by moment into our lives. To be healed and renewed with His presence and power transforming us into that new creation He sees us to be, is our desire.
1 Corinthians 6:13. "The body is…. for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body [to save, sanctify, and raise it again]".
Luke 10:27 "the Lord your God." If the Lord is my God, then all things are ours to the extent we are willing to appropriate Him and all that belongs to Him.
Zephaniah 3:17 "The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing".
Jeremiah 32:18 "God whose name is Almighty.." He is our inside God. Just as the sun is the center of our solar system, He is centered in us. He is the generator of the power plant working in the midst of our physical being. WOW!
Our bodies, souls, and spirits are redeemed, sanctified and healed for His glory and praise!!!!
Our mission in life is to walk out onto the stage of this world, to all heaven and earth and proclaim, by our lives, that the music of life lies not in our circumstances or external things but in our own souls. (Paganini)
There will be times of suffering but, He has overcome everything for us. Will we appropriate it?
- Godliness is confirmed and validated
- Deepens our character
- Clothes us with gifts
- Experience the Presence of God
To accept and endure suffering brings:
- Revelations of God's Divine Truths
Suffering precedes being set free. 1 Peter 5:10 "And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you."
So the enemy of pride cannot take over: "Deuteronomy 7:22 "And the Lord your God will clear out those nations before you, little by little; you may not consume them quickly, lest the beasts of the field increase among you."
Things may be going slow but,
I'm on the right path.
Keep - keeping on -refuse discouragement
Keep a positive attitude
Philippians 1:6, 2:13 tells us that He who began a good work is us will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. He is working in us to will and do His good pleasure.
Proverbs 15:15 "All the days of the desponding and afflicted are made evil [by anxious thoughts and forebodings], but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast [regardless of circumstances].
Matthew 8:17 says it will be done as we have believed.
Psalms 93:4 "The Lord on high is mightier and more glorious than the noise of many waters, yes, than the mighty breakers and waves of the sea."
Deuteronomy 32:10-12 "He found him in a desert land, in the howling void of the wilderness; He kept circling around him, He scanned him [penetratingly], He kept him as the pupil of His eye. As an eagle that stirs up her nest, that flutters over her young, He spread abroad His wings and He took them, He bore them on His pinions. So the Lord alone led him; there was no foreign god with Him.
Our lives often are like the eagles. We are taken through difficult times or to the edge of a precipice, but God is always there to catch us.
Is the Lord uncovering the treasure that is inside you causing you to grow? Are you going to use your weapons and become a conqueror? Deuteronomy 32:3-4 "For I will proclaim the name [and presence] of the Lord. Concede and ascribe greatness to our God. He is the Rock, His work is perfect, for all His ways are law and justice. A God of faithfulness without breach or deviation, just and right is He.
Remember our weapons:
- Tighten belt of Truth
- Put on Breastplate of righteousness
- Know the Truth of who you are in Christ
- Make an effort to walk in peace
- Lift up shield of faith
- Watch our thoughts - Helmet of Salvation
- Speak the Word - Sword
